2006 MCTA HORSE TRIALS GALLERY
An unusually warm stretch of spring weather heralded the 2006 MCTA Horse Trials at Shawan Downs May 5-7. For the first time in its 35 years, MCTA Horse Trials hosted Intermediate and Advanced levels of competition in addition to Novice, Training and Preliminary. This year also introduced the Young Event Horse Competition.
MCTA Horse Trials at Shawan Downs hosted close to 500 competitors throughout the 3-day event. The sponsors' party offered an outstanding opportunity for sponsors to tour the new cross country course with course designer Olympic Gold Medalist David O'Connor.
